Welcome to ACP High School

Each day is a new beginning for students as they build trusting relationships with educators and their own abilities to achieve goals.

ACP is a program made possible by three different school districts. In this unique collaboration the School districts serving Mount Abe, Vergennes and Middlebury have identified a need for additional services and created the Addison Consortium Program.

Immersive Learning

Students will begin each day off site in an immersive learning environment. The program has currently aligned with some independent venues such as: a local farm where students will work outside and learn about the business of agriculture; the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum where students learn the history of Lake Champlain and engage with hands on building of a whaler boat from harvesting the lumber to launching it for a maiden voyage; Outdoor adventure/team building activities led by ACP staff.

“The more healthy relationships a child has, the more likely he will be to recover from trauma and thrive. Relationships are the agents of change and the most powerful therapy is human love.”

— Bruce D. Perry
